Thanks chessiq, I wouldn't say that you're "worse" in any way. When you're trying to pack a lot of things in like you are - job, CPA exam prep and the rest of your life, you almost have to adhere to a strict routine like you are. You have to put off some things and make some sacrifices because you don't have a choice. I had to do the same thing in law school. Now I'm going to try to pursue the new things that I'd like to do and some of the old things that I've put off.

Good luck with your goals! I agree that we sometimes get into a routine and we don't want to change because... it is not comfortable! I would say I am way worse than you are/were. I am trying to change though.
My newest routine which I started this week in preparation for CPA exam - REGulation, is to get up before 6a.m., work out, get ready for work, read my mission statement, eat breakfast, pray, get to work before 8:30am. Those are the things that will not change in the morning. My goal is to squeeze studying for an hour in there. However, I have put the studying goal secondary to all those things because I can study at lunch or after work, but I "cannot" do the other things any other time and get the same results. We will see how that goes. I will keep you posted, and I will be checking on how you have done with your goals!
