Hi Patrick, no problem on the link. Keep up the great content.

Digerati is a great blog. I'm glad you liked it.

We use the blockbuster online system, although I think Netflix is going to have the upper hand going forward. Blockbuster is constantly changing the nature of their service. The positive thing about the blockbuster service is you can take one of the movies that was mailed to you and trade it in at the store for an in-store rental for no extra charge.

As for the Hulu et al versus cable, that's a good idea for a post. I think I will do that, and soon. Thanks for the idea.

I've never seen Mythbustersm, but I'll check it out. I'm a nerd, too.

Awesome link to Digerati Life - You've enabled me to discover a great site. Apart from the good free stuff link you provided, I found their write up of why a Netflix subscription is worth it.

Yes I am a dinosaur and have not yet done Netflix, but now I think it's probably worth it.

Since I'm on the topic, Todd, I'd love to see an analysis of how much a cable bill vs. a Netflix subscription + iTunes/Hulu to watch TV compares.

Frugality is in order these days, and I'm analyzing my cable viewing habits and it seems that if I could buy Mythbusters (nerd? Yep!) then it would be much more economical to ditch cable and go pure Hulu + netflix + iTunes/month.

Cheers
Patrick

PS Cheers again for the linkage. Honestly, to everyone who reads this though, Todd knows his Economic theory. Neuroscience is still in it's infancy in trying to understand why the hell we do stupid things with money.
